Hello, I’m Debbie, founder of Applegate Adventure Travels and a travel specialist with Adventures By.

Travel has always been incredibly important to my family. For more than 30 years we have explored the world together, and those trips became the moments where we truly reconnected. From when the boys were babies through to their teenage years, our holidays were the time when we slowed down, talked about everything from school worries to big life plans, and created memories that will stay with us forever.

Whether it was discovering new countries, trying different foods in local restaurants, playing on beautiful beaches or braving the biggest theme park rides together, those shared experiences shaped my love of travel and the belief that holidays bring families closer together.

Today I use that passion and my extensive personal travel experience to help others create their own unforgettable trips.

Over the years I have travelled extensively across Europe, the USA, Asia, Dubai and the Caribbean, and I have enjoyed many ocean and river cruises. Whether you are dreaming of the thrilling theme parks of Florida, a relaxing cruise journey, or a carefully planned tailor made adventure, I love helping clients design holidays that feel truly personal to them.

Elle was tasked to find a holiday within my strict budget, for a family of 5 (3 adults), in a single dwelling, all inclusive and during the Easter holidays, which from previous experience I knew was not a simple request.
